Meta Challenge #1: For North America Evo cup in Nov 2021

Hello all Digimon players in North America.

We know you are getting bored with BT5 meta that been happening in NA for almost 4months, we know you are looking for something fresh, something new as we are.

Digimon Card Meta would like to host a small challenge for the coming Evo Cup that is happening before pre-release of BT6 (19 Nov), hence these 2 events will be qualified for our challenge.

Here is the info of the meta challenge #1

General Non-Meta Guidelines

  • A deck will be considered as rookie rush if it contains 20 or more LV3 Digimons.
  • A deck will be considered as security control if the total number of option cards, tamers and security Digimons is 25 or more.

The top 2 winning decks of the Evo Cup will be reviewed by Digimon Card Meta to see they satisfy the conditions to receive the reward.

If both decks meet the condition, only the 1st place deck will receive the reward.

The reward will be:

  • 1 copy of Sistemon Noir AA art (BT6, Japanese version)
  • 1 copy of Sistermon Noir normal art (BT6 Japanese version)
  • 1 copy of a rookie from Memorial set 1 (Japanese version) (you choose for yourself)
Memorial Set 1

The winner must currently reside in North America in order to be qualified for the reward.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send us an email or drop a comment in this post.

(We will host other challenges for other regions sometime later, so stay tuned)

  1. So you mean both Top players have to be playing non-meta decks? So if one person makes it through all that with a non-meta deck and runs up against a LKM in top-2 they can't get the reward? Seems a bit unfair as not everyone will know this reward is being passed out based on those conditions.

    1. Hi Time0s,

For this challenge, we consider the top-2 decks as winners, but the 1st place deck will have a priority over the runner-up deck.

So if first place went to a LKM deck, and second place is a non-meta deck, then the reward will go to the second place deck.

If both the first and second place are non-meta decks, then the reward will go to the first place deck 🙂

Hope this clears up the confusion sir 🙂
